EVENT MANAGEMENT: ROAD SHOW
INDUSTRY: TRAINING
|
|
Ubix provides services to manage seminar activities, open-house events, or product roll-outs. For example, one of our clients conducts road shows, which involves visits to channel partners in about 40 different locations nationwide.
We use the event management system to invite potential participants in a geographic location, obtain registrations, and send out pre-work training material before the event. We also send a reminder five days before the event, a post-event evaluation, and additional follow-up promotional material.

Objectives:
- Maximizing event participation in each location
- Preparing participants before event attendance to increase its value
- Increasing the impact of event learning and promotions
Program highlights:
- Announcements and registration: Built dialog with advocates in the client organization. Allowed for internal distribution to department heads that promoted the event and encouraged registration.
- Pre-event communication: Obtained registration information. Allowed for “Invite a Colleague” dialog. Confirmed the registration and managed the training communication, such as sending out event reminders, collecting learning-related responses, and managing logistical details.
- Post-event communication: Received event evaluations, reported event statistics to program management, and sent out follow-up communication, such as product and marketing promotional programs based on participants’ practices and interests. Also, enabled blended learning by combining live workshops with Ubix streaming video learning system.
- Program management: Scheduled the various events, provided location details, handled logistics, etc.
